The Power of Prayer & Raising Up Prayer Warriors...

Over the last month God has been reminding me....

1. The POWER of prayer

"The Prayer of a Righteous man is POWERFUL and EFFECTIVE."
James 5:16

2. The importance of being in daily communication with him!

3. Often we don't have because we do not ask...The need to take time to pray...present requests to God and wait/trust He hears & will answer

"Ask, and it will be given to you seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, & it will be yours."
Mark 11:24

4. If we lack WISDOM ask!

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”
James 1:5

Personal Prayer Requests For Wisdom:
·      For the next steps to take with outreach with home visits, training on new handouts, timing on handing out various therapy supplies for home use, and for the right timing to take each new step.
·      On hiring a translator/therapy assistant to help the work I do be more effective. Lack of communication and not having a second set of hands make it very difficult to make consistent progress.
·      On moving forward with Miriam Center projects: Tiling the Miriam Center, Miriam Center new expansion project, renovating a room for a therapy space, and Bed Project. For timing & provision.
·      On how to most affectively love on, support, and care for the Miriam Center Staff and Outreach Families.

4. How praying scripture is the most effective way to pray as we are praying God's will and desire for us.

“And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.”
1 John 5:14

Below is a missionary prayer I found based off of scripture that I personalized. I have been praying it everyday for myself as it is the desire of my heart and also have been praying it over my mission family. I am asking you to pray alongside of me the following prayer....

Father I plead that I would be filled with the holy spirit and would daily walk in his power. I pray that I would speak the word of God with boldness.
I pray that I will represent the gospel clearly to unbelievers.
Lord, I pray that I would be accepted by the natives, the believers, and the missionaries here in Haiti at the Miriam Center where I am laboring.
God I plead that you will protect me from the attacks of satan and his demons.
Father I ask that you will open doors and hearts to receive the gospel as I minister here.
I pray that you will make my ministry exceedingly fruitful and that you will glorify yourself through this ministry.
Father, I plead that you will deliver me from loneliness and frustration.
Lord, I pray that you will create in me a servants heart.
I ask that I will live & labor each day for the glory of God.
Father, I plead that I will be a vessel through which the love of God can flow to others.
Please grant me your specific direction for my ministry.
I ask that I will have a growing and intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
I pray that I will have a deeper and clearer understanding of the word of God.
Father, I plead that you will continually protect me from all harm and ask that you will strengthen me physically.
I ask that you would grant me peace and assurance about the care of my family members that are left at home.
Fill me with your joy in all situations and let this joy sustain me.
Father, I pray that I would see people and things from your perspective.
Lord I ask that you would bless and strengthen my family.
I plead that I will have a renewed and growing zeal to share the gospel with unbelievers.
I ask that I will be completely yielded to Christ and willing to die to self in all matters. I pray that I will be growing in humility.
Father I plead that I will endure persecution in a Christlike manner and will be willing to give my life for the gospel’s sake if that is what is called for in the situation.
I ask you to create a thankful heart in me especially in times of difficulty.
I pray that you will raise up prayers partners for me.
I plead that all of my needs physical, spiritual, and emotional will be met by you through your grace & power.
I ask that I will labor from godly motives and not from a desire to please people.
I plead, O God that you would raise up strong believers around me who will encourage me in the tasks that God has given me.
I pray that I would long to be holy and live a life of obedience to the word of the God.
I plead that I would be salt and light to the people who to which I have been sent.
Father, I pray that you would enable me to pray for those who persecute me and for those who spitefully use me.
I pray that I would not lag in diligence but would be ferverent in spirit.
I plead that I will rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation and continue steadfast in prayers.
I ask that I would not lose my focus in ministry but that I would have my priorities in order by you.
I pray that I will set my mind on things above and not on the things of the earth.
I plead that I will be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the LORD, knowing that my labor is not in vain.

Thank you to all of you who have been praying alongside of me during my journey in Haiti. I have felt your prayers & greatly appreciate them. I am learning more & more how much Satan attacks you when you are striving to advance the Kingdom of God. Please continue to lift me, my health, my ministry, and my relationship with my Lord and Savior up in prayers.

AMAZING MIRIAM CENTER STAFF...PHOTO SHOOT

We have the most AMAZING group of Miriam Center Staff & Momma’s who truly LOVE & care for the children. They are so faithful to their work, even when they are sick, tired, hungry, have problems at home, wonder how they are going to support/feed/or send their own kids to school. They show up, they are present, and genuinely love on the kids day in & day out. They are the Miriam Center Momma’s! Day in & Day out they feed, change, bathe, play with, do therapy with, comfort and just love on the kids. Below are some of the pictures that were taken for the photo frames. I wish the internet was faster so I could upload more pictures as I have about 100. I hope in these few you can see the MUTUAL LOVE and JOY!

Juice Making Adventure

So I brought my Juicer into Haiti with me with the intentions of Juicing every week to get better nutrition. Well the other day was the first day that I made juice...It was a 5 hour adventure...

First we went down to the market and bought fruits & vegetables

We came back & bleached all the fruits & vegetables

 Biggest Beat EVER!

Peeled and cut up all the Vegetables and Fruits to put through Juicer

 Cleaned up our Mess

All the peelings to go to Auquaponics

 Juicing....

FINAL PRODUCT....Which turned out being super sour even with tons of sugar....we used to many Hatian oranges, limes and grapefruit which are all sour...It had a really bad rhine after taste :-( We still forced ourselved to drink it because it was good for us. We had so much juice!!! We drank a gladd everyday for 4 days and still have a huge pitcher left....

PLAN: Hire a Hatian to buy produce, bleach, and peel....Use less tart fruits
