WHITE RIVE CHURCH

The Miriam Center is always blessed when White River Church comes to visit each year. They are also 1 of the few groups that takes on a HUGE hassle of getting Adaptive Equipment into Haiti. This trip they carried 22 pieces of adaptive equipment in for us.

Children from 2 different centers benefited from the Equipment. New Life Children's Home in PAP received an Adaptive Bike, 2 adult size sit-stand standers, some swings, and a scooter board! The kids are really enjoying using them to get better with therapy.  

The kids at the Miriam Center were also extremely blessed with new wheelchairs which put them in a better position and help them to be more comfortable. :-) We also have some new standers to use in therapy and some more wheelchairs that I plan to fit for outreach  kids.

Among lots of other fun activities the team did was when they threw a FUN PATIO PARTY for the kids. There was pop rocks, marshmellows, parachute fun, photo booth, and dance party! Lets just say fun was had by all as you can see from the pictures and videos below.
