In October we had the JOY of taking the Miriam Home children on a Beach Outing. It was their first Beach outing in 3 years. After a longtime of searching for a suitable beach Nahum/Presidue found a beach 45 minutes away that was semi-private and shallow water. We were blessed to have Kimmy's House in Haiti to help take the children. Many of the team members on the team have been involved in special needs recreation back in the states and 1 of the members was a recreational therapist. It was a fun filled day for all enjoying the floating/splashing in the water, playing in the sand, playing with beach balls, and having a snack AND we can't forget the fun truck ride. The SMILES below show how much fun EVERYONE had!
