Last Friday was the last day for my therapy students at the Miriam Center so I decided we would have a FUN FRIDAY with the Miriam Center kids in the Morning and then again in the afternoon with the Friday Outreach Families.
In the morning with the Miriam Home kids we split into 2 groups.
Group 1 started in the classroom for a time of CREATIVITY. I rolled out 2 pieces of paper for them to color and draw on. I also set out material to do stamping, stickers, and water color paints. The kids had so much fun being creative
Group 2 started on the patio with water squirt toys, swings, and shaving cream play. The shaving cream play was intended to be done with small animal action figures but turned into a full blast shaving cream fight! Everyone had a blast sneaking up on each other and covering them with shaving cream
After an hour the 2 groups switched! After we all got cleaned up we had a snack time with cookies/crackers with the kids.
After lunch we did a repeat with the outreach kids. They started in the classroom for a time of CREATIVITY....
Then we moved to the patio and had some fun play with the parachute
It was one of the funnest days I have experienced in Haiti. We even got all the Miriam Center staff involved!
