The last few months we were able to use $ from the outreach blessing fund to help a few of the outreach families who were really in need of some help. Thank you to each of you who help support the outreach program financially that enables us to bless these families.
Caladina/Shamma New House
This family has been apart of the outreach program for 3 years now. Caladina is in my wednesday outreach group and Shaman her sister comes to the sensory school. Their mother is a single mother with 5 other children. For about a year now they have been asking for help with rent. The little room they rented had a dirt floor, leaking roof, and wasn’t very safe. After much prayer and finding out that the family owns property but has never been able to build and so rent a small room in town we decided to build them a simple house. The other week I got to hike up the mountain and see the family and their new home. It is quite the hike but also an AMAZING VIEW!

Moseline- PVC Pipe playpen
Moseline has been in the outreach program for the last 5 years. The past 2 years we have been working really hard on her ability to stand and walk. She recently has started taking steps with 1 hand held and can stand independently. This new found independence is great on 1 hand but was causing many problems for her mother. Moseline’s mother has been without work for years as she took care of moseline. Moseline’s mother was finally able to find work but while she is at work Moseline knocks everything over in the house and it was no longer safe for Moseline’s mother to leave her at home and was torn…her child’s safety or being able to provide food for her family. We were able to make a PVC pipe play pen for moseline. This provided her a place to still be able to walk around and move around but keeps her safe while her mother is at work.
Rosemeldrine’s mom’s medical Care
Rosemeldrine’s mother has been sick for over 2 months now. She has been bed bound and in-and-out of the hospital. She is a single mother with none to help take care of Rosemeldrine. We have checked on her weekly and helped cover medical costs. During our last visit we asked how we could be praying for her. Rosemeldrine’s mother said. “Please pray that I get better…when I am sick Rosemeldrine is sick…because I can’t take care of her.” I have loved the way the other outreach mothers have rallied around Rosemeldrine’s mother to support her, visit her, pray with her and they have been making sure Rosemeldrine still got to outreach. Rosemeldrine would get so excited overtime that we visited. We would take her for walks and play with her. She loves playing cause-effect games on the IPAD.
Helping with Rent
We were also able to help pay 3 outreach kids rent for the year. Both of these families have been committed to the outreach program for years. They were both in need of some help this year to be able to continue to keep a roof over their families head. We are so thankful that we could fill the void and enable their families to have a safe place to live another year.
THANK YOU to each of you who donate to the outreach program. Without your generous donations and support we would not be able to fill in the gaps for these families when they need help!
