LAUNCH OF SPONSORSHiP

July we kicked off starting to collect information to launch outreach sponsorship later this year. I had 3 friends come in and spend a week helping with this. They interviewed the parents and took head shots of each child alone and then one with their parent. Misty and Micky took home the interviews and are writing them up into a Biography of each child. Nathan is working so hard on creating the 5 STAR Global Ministry webpage. I am so excited it is looking so good. When it is done you will be able to go on and click on each child, read their biography and choose to sponsor one. We are looking to get each child sponsored at $30 a month (3 $10 sponsors or 2 $15 sponsors) to help cover therapy costs, medical costs, parent education costs, and fun activity costs. Currently I am constantly having to post on facebook every little need because money is tight. The hope with sponsorship is 2 fold. First is to get the program more fully funded so more time can be spend on improving the program verses raising funds for the program. Secondly is to facilitate a friendship/connection to a specific child in the program that you my supporter can have. My hope is that you would be a prayer warrior for that child, that you would place their picture somewhere to be a daily reminder of this precious child of God that you are helping receive the therapy and medical services that they need. I hope next time I am in the states to make some physical sponsorship packets as well. Stay tuned for more on this in the coming months.
