One of the the trainings I always do with the Rehab Technicians when I train them is oral-motor and feeding techniques. This is something they don't get in school but is greatly needed. I do a training lecture and then they follow that up with practicing on the Miriam Center. Its a win win for all. The kids love the interaction and working on their oral-motor skills and the Rehab Techs love learning new skills that make them better!
