Third Round of Rehab Tech Students

For the third round of students I ended up only having 1 instead of 2. Her name was Estephyole. She learned ALOT

Fun Hand Print Art work

BEACH TRIPS
She got to help facilitate 2 different beach trips for the outreach families. A time to learn about sensory play with water and sand.

OUTREACH
Everyday from 1-3 is outreach. A time where kids from the community come for group therapy. During this time Estephyole got the chance to provide not only therapy but education to the families.

HELPING WITH OUTREACH EDUCATION EVENTS
Estephyole was present for 2 outreach parent education seminars. 1 was on when to bring your child to the clinic and basic first aid. Each family let with 2-3 bags of oral rehydration packets. The second education was on Zika Awareness and Hygiene.

CASTING FUN!!!
she learned all about casting (putting casts on and taking them off), CIMT (Constraint Induced Movement Therapy), and club foot casting.

OUTREACH HOMEVISITS
She got to go out into the communities on Friday afternoons to do home visits. This is a time that we go the the outreach families home and do therapy in the home, pray for them and just spend time loving on the child and family.

EVERYDAY THERAPY WITH THE MIRIAM CENTER KIDS

LEARNING HOW TO DO KINESIOTAPING
We have a visiting PT who was willing to take a day to teach me and
