Well today was yet another hot day in Haiti! We did get some rain yesterday and it was enough to keep mom and the group she was going with from going to beauchamp however her and Nita still got to put their talents to good work I think Courtney was very happy the two of them sat and sewed all day.. They made some larger cloth diapers for the kids of the Miriam and they made some curtains and also a wedge pillow for one of the children that has trouble breathing it will allow him to sit more upright and breath easier. Today I spent all day outside and was def feeling it.. I was very tired and got a very nice sunburn.. But we had a great time we went to anseflour (sp) but it is the Voodoo capital of Haiti. It was pretty awesome we took a tap tap for about 1 hour and 15 min we did a VBS at one of the schools that the mission sponsors. We then got to walk to a monument that used to be a cross it is now just the base because years ago a storm came through and it fell they think it was the work of Satan, supposedly the doll that they worship also fell from the sky and they also worship that. We also got the chance to go and see a soccer game it as like the semi quarter finals or something of that sort. It was slightly scary the Haitians take their soccer very seriously and riots normally occur. But we won so it was interesting to see their celebration.
