We made it here safely if some of you don’t already know. As autumn posted yesterday we took the bus here and we mad it in record time 6 ½ hours ( we were told anywhere from 6-10 hours) I made a video so that you when we get home you might get to see what it might have been like but if you are thinking for anyone who has been to Kennywood it is like riding the jack rabbit the wooden roller coaster with water effects because it decided it was going to rain we weren’t complaining it felt great and it cooled us off. Today we took a tour of the mission then we had the rest of the day to do as we please. We spent some time in the Miriam center with the children and I helped autumn with For Jonathan Sake. Then I went to the gran moon and to the baby nursery. Mom helped some with some VBS preps and then she did hut to hut and visited a couple of people and down to the beach. We also did the meals on feet which is a program that takes meals to a few homes in the community. It was very interesting the way that the children latch onto you it is like you are in preschool again and you are their best friend and then when you tell them that you don’t have any food they are no longer your friend, and they move onto the next person beside you. Tomorrow mom is leaving for beachamp until Monday there is a group going there to do VBS’s and other stuff but my mom and another lady are going to teach some of the Haitians how to sew and crochet. I am planning on going to the Vodoo temple with a group to do a VBS. I hope you all are having extremely hot weather be we know its hot here and wouldn’t want to miss out on the cool weather. Hey MARTY!! Just so you know Autumn is studying a lot!!! *wink* *wink*
